Windsor’s premier wood-clad line, split into two distinct tiers: the standard Pinnacle Clad and the elite Pinnacle Select
Founded in 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa, Windsor started as a modest window shop serving local homeowners. Through decades of innovation, including pioneering wood-clad technology and advanced weather-sealing systems, they earned a reputation for building windows that outperform and outlast.
Today, Windsor operates state-of-the-art facilities across North America and serves both residential and commercial markets.

FAQs
What are wood-clad windows?
Wood-clad windows offer the "best of both worlds." They feature a solid, natural wood interior for a warm, luxury aesthetic, while the exterior is "clad" in heavy-duty extruded aluminum.
Can I get a custom colour for the exterior?
Yes. For the Pinnacle line, we offer over 50 different exterior clad colours and finishes. We can also provide custom colour matching for specific architectural projects to ensure your windows perfectly complement your home’s façade.
Will these windows help reduce outside noise?
Most standard dual-pane windows have an STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating between 26 and 32. If you live near a busy GTA road or under a flight path, we can upgrade your Windsor units with asymmetric glass (different thicknesses of glass in one unit), which significantly disrupts sound waves and creates a much quieter interior environment.
How do I prevent my windows from "sweating" in the winter?
Interior condensation is common in energy-efficient Ontario homes because they are sealed so tightly. To prevent this, we recommend keeping your indoor humidity between 25% and 35% when the outdoor temperature drops below freezing. Using your kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans or a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) will help circulate dry air and protect your window frames.
Can I stay in my home while the work is being done?
Our crews work room-by-room to ensure your home’s centre of activity is minimally disrupted. We perform a full clean-up of each space before moving to the next, and we only remove one window at a time to maintain your indoor temperature.
