RECOMMENDED FOR

An introduction to Passive House for the building community. Everyone is welcome.

Typical attendees include:

• Architects, designers and interior designers
• Engineers, building officials and consultants
• Builders, developers and tradespeople
• Students and teachers

Visit the WD Craftline booth to discuss high-performance window and door solutions for your next project. We look forward to meeting architects, builders, designers and homeowners exploring Passive House design, energy retrofits and better building envelopes.

Hosted by Passive House Canada, this Toronto gathering combines project presentations with industry networking. The program explores a Toronto housing retrofit and the application of Passive House principles to municipal infrastructure.

Window and Door Solutions for Passive House Projects

Windows and doors influence heat loss, solar gains, comfort and airtightness. For a Passive House project, selection should consider the complete assembly: frames, glazing, spacers, seals and installation details. Product suitability depends on the building design, climate, orientation and energy model.

What We Can Discuss at Our Booth

Bring your drawings, specifications or early project questions. Talk with our team about fiberglass window and door options, whole-window thermal performance, glazing choices, operable configurations and coordination with the surrounding wall assembly. We can also discuss installation planning and the product documentation your design team needs to evaluate suitable systems.

Passive House certification applies to defined components or a complete building under specific criteria. A material choice alone does not establish compliance. Confirm the selected model, size, glazing configuration and supporting documentation with your designer or Passive House consultant.
